Proudly serving the communities of Ingleside,
Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, Rockport, Portland & Corpus Christ, Texas
Saltwater Fishing has always been my
passion. I have been fishing the Texas Coastal Bend since I was 11
years old, just big enough to rope-start a 20 hp motor. I carried my
catch to the house in a "Red Flyer" wagon, often selling it on the
way home to help pay the bills. When I got older, I commercial
fished many years with my father. San Antonio Bay, Copano Bay,
Aransas Bay, Redfish Bay, Corpus Christi Bay, and Nueces
Bay became my backyard playground, and Redfish, Speckled Trout,
Black Drum, Flounder and Sheepshead became my friends. In 1989 I
earned my US Coastguard License, got my Guide License with Texas
Parks and Wildlife, and over the years have become a top notch South
Texas Fishing Guide. Unlike most guides, I fish full time and year
round. I have lived in Aransas Pass nearly all my life, and fish the
bays and flats
of Port Aransas, Rockport, Ingleside, Aransas Pass and Corpus
Christi. Last year I met the love of my life - a brand new 24.2 ft
Tran Cat with a 250 E-Tec! It allows me to fish all those shallow
places where most boats don't dare go. She goes with me everywhere I
go and is the only one on earth that knows all my secret fishing
holes. As you can see...
I love to

Charlie's Current Fishing Report: March 16, 2015
Hi Everyone! Well the weather is finally
nice and I think everyone is happy about that. Well we fished March
13th and it was slow, but this morning March14th we had our 9 reds
by 8:30! You can tell everyone is ready to do some fishing and get
outdoors as there are a lot of boats on the water.
be safe and respect each other, try not to crowd the other guy too
much or run your motor too close to someone fishing so you don't
spook the fish. There are some trout on the drop offs ( outside
Traylor Island and Dagger Island, etc... ) if you want to throw
lures, or you can catch them on live shrimp also, but you have to
wait in line to get it and the bait stands are running out quick. I
have been catching my reds on dead shrimp, but also carrying some
sea lice and frozen shad just in case the perch get bad and the
shrimp won't last . I will be fishing the next 7 days in a row,
after that I have a few days open if someone wants to go! My book is
filling up fast and it looks like it's going to be a great year, so
if you want to fish give me a call soon before I run out of days! I
will be posting pictures everyday or two so hit the Facebook link at
the bottom of the page to see my new post. Tight lines, everyone!!!
If we can't take you on the day you want to go,
then I will personally book a good guide to take care of you, so
give me a call!!!
Like "To The Limit Guide Service" on
and see current fish pictures & a new fishing report every few days!
Tight Lines Everyone!!!

Choosing Your Fishing Guide
Choosing a fishing guide
can be a very bewildering experience. There are lots of guides out
there. Some are very good at
what they do, but many have
little or no experience fishing this area. As the saying goes; "You
get what you pay for." My advice when looking at websites is look at
the pictures! Are there good trout, redfish and drum stringers? Do
they fish a variety of bays? How long have they been fishing in THIS
area? I have seen lots of guides come and go trying to make a living
fishing. Anyone can catch fish when the fishing is good. I take a
lot of pride in that I very seldom miss putting my clients on a
decent stringer of fish.
